Join us for a unique experience with the safari in Barbagia, which will take you to discover the Supramonte aboard impressive Jeeps.

The excursion begins at the meeting point in Orgosolo, accessible by group transfer from the hotel, where our adventure through breathtaking landscapes will start.

We will visit the Primaria di Dorzesi Forest, where you can admire centuries-old holm oaks and wild animals. We will continue with exploratory stops among free-roaming herds and untouched forests until we reach Mountain San Giovanni. Here, you can climb about 150 meters to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the Gennargentu and the karst ridge.

After the climb, we will return to the Jeeps and head back towards the Supramonte for an unforgettable lunch with local shepherds. The menu includes local cured meats and cheeses, the typical focaccia of Oliena, Cannonau wine, and plenty of water. The highlight will be the stewed sheep with potatoes and onions, followed by roasted suckling pig cooked for four hours. The meal will conclude with fresh fruit, a typical Sardinian sweet, and the traditional “fil’e ferru,” all accompanied by local songs.
