BARBAGIA: EXPLORING THE LAND OF LONGEVITY

The mountainous region of Barbagia hides the wildest side of Sardinia. A unique opportunity to learn about the flora, fauna, and traditions carefully preserved and passed down over time, as well as the daily life of small villages nestled among the mountains.

Visit the center of Orgosolo, once a refuge for bandits, now famous for the Murals that have turned it into an open-air art gallery.

In the Supramonte territory, a typical lunch will be served directly by the shepherds, featuring local products such as Sardinian cheeses, sausage, suckling pig, and  carasau bread. Afterwards, enjoy a folkloric show listening to the cantu a tenore, recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

In the evening, return to the hotel.
